The characters are very interesting and have a very realistic way of speaking. Some of the scenes look like a documentary, others seem to be art-house movies. The people involved with this documentary are mostly students and some have gone on to careers in the field of anthropology. "The Great Plains" is a great film. I'd like to say that this is a masterpiece of an art film, but it is not.
