atm we all are contemplating if changing our ID is even worth it with all of the negative risk attached to it.I tried to change mine followed directions its not showing up on my ps4 to even change itThis feature is clearly for those who want to make that choice.If you don’t want to change your name, or prefer to create a new account….then go ahead and do that!Ya you can make a new account for free but your games that you bought off the ps store won’t transfer and neither will your ps plus subscription so you will have to buy a new subscription with that new account so it’s not really free in the end. Should it mostly display the new ID anyway? It looks to me like, when you create an account, your chosen username is your account identifier, instead of a numerical string, like the way every other database does it. !I just moved from Australia to the US.
