Love, love, this movie!!!!!! This is not a bad film in fact it is good if you watch it to enjoy and don't start comparing it with the original that will really spoil it for you take it for what it is a good romp along film But it's a different film, and as a stand alone film it has enough action, humour and well puffed-out characters to keep you engaged through their capers to the end. Bye-bye you 3.8-liter, 265 hp beauties. Very disappointing but perhaps dating back to 2003 explains the poor quality of the transfer to bluray by Paramount.

I found this movie to be quite entertaining from the opening scene all the way to the closing scene which is a bit unusual for these types of movies. Charlie Croker pulled off the crime of a lifetime. I saw the original in 1968...I loved the remake so much I decided to purchase the remake to add to my library..HUGH fan of Walberg, Strachan and Theron!!!!!
"The Italian Job" is a good, fun and intelligent "heist" type movie predicated on the revenge factor. Perhaps surprisingly the quality of the original Italian Job blu-ray is much better... (I enjoy both movies.) The one thing that he didn’t plan on was being double-crossed.

I love this movie but the image quality of the bluray is the worst I've seen i.e very noisy and full of artefacts. The Italian Job 1/36 Scale-Three Piece Model Mini Set 05506 This 1/36th scale set comes in excellent condition complete with box. Ordered it yesterday and paid normal delivery fee, and I woke up this morning to an email that it was infact arriving today. Got both know orginal and new one. I was a little disappointed that the front cover wasn't the same as shown in the image, but ah well. The team's initial plan is to have Steve stood up on a date with Stella who poses as a cable repair woman to get into Steve's house and locate his safe while the team breaks into Steve's house, loads the gold into three Mini Coopers modified by Rob's mechanical friend Wrench (Franky G), and use hacked traffic lights to make their escape. Bought this because I loved the first film in 1969, which I also have. A very good example of the modern heist-action movie genre. They fall victim to explosions, are destroyed in horrible crashes, and are even pushed off cliffs. Its got a good cast, a watchable film.

This is a direct reference to The Italian Job, or at least recalling the title and the distinct mini-coopers used in the film. You might as well stick with the DVD until they bring out a remastered version.
